2 October is a 2003 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed and produced by Sunil Tiwari. The film stars Ashutosh Rana as a fearless police officer tasked with eliminating a notorious underworld criminal. Plot
Karan Abhyankar is a dedicated and courageous police officer in the encounter cell. When the police commissioner learns that Interpol-wanted criminal Bhau is hiding in Mumbai, he informs the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister orders Karan to eliminate Bhau in a covert operation. However, just before the operation, the Chief Minister halts it because Bhau's associate, Kaka, has kidnapped the Chief Minister's daughter. Karan faces numerous obstacles from influential people as he strives to bring Bhau to justice on 2 October, the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, symbolizing the fight against corruption and crime.
