Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
A 20 year old French-Canadian girl befriends a Quebecois skier while exploring Western Canada in this soul searching drama from writer/director Dany Papineau. Bored with school and determined to experience life on her own terms, Marie Deschamps (Mirianne Brûlé) drops out of college and sets her sights on Whistler. There, she plans to perfect her English while exploring a world she's only read about in books. And though at first British Columbia doesn't exactly live up to Marie's expectations, a chance meeting with Quebec native Jean-Francois Laforest (Papineau), who's lived on the west coast for the past decade, begins to transform her in ways she never dreamt possible.
