Synopsis by Maggie Sadler
Eager to start a family, a woman named Isabelle (Anne Dorval) embarks on a journey of adoption, opening her heart and her home to a Vietnamese infant she called Clara. However, Clara lost her life to unusual circumstances in the years following her adoption, causing Isabelle substantial grief. Isabelle then ventures to Hanoi on a cathartic mission to learn about her adopted daughter's culture and roots, ultimately encountering Clara's birth mother. Directed by Jean-Philippe Duval. François Papineau and Leanna Chea co-star.
