Costume designer Leah Rhodes ran the Warner Bros. costume department during WWII while her mentor, Orry-Kelly, served in the military. Born in Port Arthur, TX, Rhodes' career continued through the '60s. In 1949, she shared an Academy award with designers Billy Travilla and Marjorie Best for The Adventures of Don Juan.
