Screen and television writer Kay Lenard had over 600 credits to her name. She started out writing for the San Francisco Chronicle. Later she moved to Los Angeles and during the '50s wrote a few screenplays. During the '60s, Lenard worked in television on shows ranging from Combat to The Donna Reed Show to Flipper. She also worked on the daily serials The Young and the Restless and Days of Our Lives (for which she won an Emmy in 1976). Lenard passed away on January 21, 1997, in Portland, OR.
