Known to millions as "the Supernanny," Jo Frost has been a professional nanny and child-care specialist since college. More than just a baby-sitter, Frost's specific approach to child care and parenting, which revolves around maintaining consistent adult authority while creating a peaceful, safe environment for kids, won her her own reality series. Supernanny debuted in the U.K. in 2004, and the U.S. version began in 2005 on the ABC network, following her as she intervened in the lives of confused parents who needed help in managing their children. She also published a book in 2005, Supernanny: How to Get the Best From Your Children.
