George Gordon directed over 50 of the popular "Terrytoons" made at the Paul Terry Studio in New Rochelle, New York between 1930 and 1937. Gordon moved on to MGM and worked on a number of their cartoons including "Barney the Bear" and "Tom and Jerry." He switched to making military training films during WW II and after the war began directing commercials, documentaries and industrial films.
