British composer and music director Cyril Mockridge received professional training at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Later, in the early '30s, Mockridge went to Hollywood where he scored and arranged the music for dozens of films. Later, he began composing for television. In 1950, he produced the film Mother Didn't Tell Me.
