Fresh-faced Arizona native Brooke White began singing as a teenager, drawing on the influences of singer/songwriters like Carly Simon and James Taylor. When season seven American Idol auditions came through Philadelphia, she gave the judges her all and it paid off. She was sent through to Hollywood, where she beat out the competition and became one of the prestigious top 24.
