Synopsis by Maggie Sadler
In the early 1980s, unorthodox and provocative artist David Wojnarowicz uses his medium to present his narrative of living life as a gay man in New York. As his work garners further attention, Wojnarowicz inspires other creatives in the LGBTQ community to speak their truth about their experiences. While Wojnarowicz's journey was cut short by the fatal effects of HIV/AIDS, his impact continued to last well beyond the final years of the decade. Directed by Chris McKim.
