Synopsis by Cammila Collar

A schizophrenic homeless man with a streak of peculiar musical talent, Wesley Willis both amused and offended many for the majority of his short life. While some loved him for his bizarre humor, others reviled those who assisted in his career for their seeming exploitation of an emotionally disturbed man. Nonetheless, Willis' journey to fame was a remarkable one, and filmmaker Ron Davis explores it extensively in this documentary.
