Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

Director Clifton Ross leads viewers on a personal tour of the Bolivarian Revolution in this documentary exploring Latin America's intriguing, early-21st Century experiment. Interviews with a wide spectrum of participants ranging from academics to farmers give the viewer a solid understanding of that the "revolución bonita" ("pretty revolution") is really all about before a brief history lesson paves the way for a look at the progress occurring on the ground. It's been called the "Socialism of the 21st Century," and as viewers visit the schools, rural banks, and cooperatives taking part in this ambitious experiment they'll discover just what makes this movement different from all the rest.
