Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Produced by William Steiner, written by future director Alvin J. Neitz (later known as Alan James), and directed by and starring Neal Hart, this obscure silent Western told the story of Jim Benton, a prison guard searching for the villain who framed his father. Soon Dick and his girlfriend Doris are captives of the killer, known only as "The Wolf," and forced to work in a gold mine. With the help of a local Indian chief, Dick manages to escape and notify the authorities. Hart, who continued to work in B-Westerns until 1949, the year of his death, was a distant cousin of Western legend William S. Hart.
