A sinister presence known as the Sweet Sixteen killer is back, and the target is Pam, who has spent years recovering from attacks over thirty years ago. Pam's daughter Jamie also becomes a target and somehow ends up transported to 1987 just in time to stop the killer from beginning the original killing spree. But it is a race against time to prevent the murderous rampage and accomplish it before she is trapped in the 1980s forever.
