It is all too easy to accuse Fox of skating on Thin Ice when they crafted this lightweight piece of entertainment, but the musical-comedy is actually quite funny at moments and Sonja Henie and Tyrone Power share a rapport onscreen that reputedly carried over into their private lives. Henie spins and twirls with her usual dexterity (not to mention ever present incandescent smile) but at this late date, Joan Davis' patented mugging is actually the film's most entertaining aspect. That and some fine process work filmed at Mount Rainier.
