Synopsis by Jennifer Lackman
This documentary shines a light on the notoriously mysterious art collective known as the Residents. Originally formed in the 1960s, the group has specialized in avant-garde music and multimedia projects, releasing albums, music videos, short films, CD-ROMs, and DVDs. Despite their longevity and prolific output, little is known about the members of the Residents, who have always held on to their anonymity. The doc includes interviews with famous fans such as Matt Groening, Penn Jillette, Les Claypool, and more. Directed by Don Hardy Jr..
