Synopsis by Travis Norris
A nurse and a nun are sent to an isolated village to look after a mysterious girl. They are both given orders not to communicate with each other, and each will observe the girl in eight-hour shifts. It is revealed that the girl has not eaten for four months, and the duo is presented with a mystery that is seemingly impossible to comprehend. Sebastián Lelio co-writes and directs this psychological thriller. Based on the novel by Emma Donoghue.
