Synopsis by Tom Peterson
Director Barbet Schroeder chronicles Burmese monk Ashin Wirathu's campaign of racism against Myanmar’s minority Muslim population. Wirathu is seen preaching the peaceful teachings of Buddhism to his followers, while at the same time leading a holy war meant to expel the Muslim population, which has long been targeted in the region.
