Synopsis by Maggie Sadler
Documentary filmmaker Alex Pritz takes an immersive, meditative look into the lives of a network of Brazilian farmers struggling to protect an endangered region of the Amazon rainforest. Led by a tenacious young Indigenous man, the group grapples with the capitalistic forces threatening the safety of the natural resources while fighting to safeguard an uncontacted group of Indigenous peoples hiding deep within the confines of the rainforest.
