Synopsis by Augustine Chay
Director Aleksey Tsitsilin helmed the third instalment of Russian animation company Wizart Animation’s popular Snow Queen series, which are all loosely based on Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale of the same name. Having defeated the Snow Queen and the Snow King, Gerda journeys across an icy landscape to find her parents. While being a guest of the trolls, she discovers the Stone of Fire and Ice – a magical artefact that endows her and friend Kai with power over the elements.
