Synopsis by Janiss Garza

This tale of Wall Street proved to be a poor vehicle for athletic star George Walsh, who was given few opportunities for her famous fisticuffs. Because of his unscrupulous practices, Norman Yates (Richard R. Neill) ruins his boss, stockbroker John Houghton (Byron Douglas). Then, when Houghton gets into a fight with an angry client and the client is killed, Yates -- who really committed the murder -- blackmails his employer. In need of funds, Houghton sells his mansion to "Take a Chance" Schuyler (Walsh). The Houghtons are allowed to continue living in their home, however, and the broker's daughter, Alice (Virginia Valli), makes it clear that she resents Schuyler's presence. Yates, meanwhile, tries to force Alice into marriage. Before Yates is exposed as the real killer and Schuyler wins Alice, the two men battle, both on Wall Street and (finally!) with their fists.
