Synopsis by Perry Seibert
Nicolas Rossier's documentary The Other Man: F.W. de Klerk and the End of Apartheid profiles the politician who was the last to lead South Africa under apartheid. Once a staunch defender of the racist policy, de Klerk softened his position over time, and eventually freed Nelson Mandela and worked with him in order to foster a peaceful transition in his country after decades of institutionalized racism.
