Synopsis by Olivia Cantor
Written and directed by Rob Zombie, this horror comedy is based on the 1960s sitcom of the same title. Its story serves as a prequel to the show’s storylines. This film focuses on the life of the one hundred-and-fifty-year-old vampire Lily (Sheri Moon Zombie) and the seven-foot-tall Herman (Jeff Daniel Phillips) before they became a couple with a quirky but amusing family. As Lily is tired of searching for her one true love, she meets the green experiment of a creature named Herman. However, her father is against this coupling, so these ghoul-crossed lovers must keep their romance going.
