Synopsis
This documentary attempts to paint a portrait of David Hammons, a recognized influential yet elusive African American artist. As an identified provocateur and critic of what he refers to as the elitist art world, he first gained popularity in the late 1960s to the mid-1970s by presenting mixed media artworks that critique social inequality and racial differences.
