Synopsis by Clare Perez-Izaguirre Lopez
Based on the book ‘The Meaning of Hitler’ by Sebastian Haffner, this documentary explores the decades-long obsession with the infamous dictator and Nazi Leader Adolph Hitler. Juxtaposing three eras, Hitler’s Third Reich in the 1930s, Haffner’s 1970s words of warning that history may repeat itself and that of the modern day far-right extremists, the documentary probes how easily evil can rise to power at any point in time. Directed by Petra Epperlein and Michael Tucker.
