Synopsis by Augustine Chay
Co-writer and director Justin Ward’s historical film is based on Don Umphrey's 1984 biography of the same name. Mateus Ward plays Clyde Thompson, a young Texan who is imprisoned for life in 1928 after shooting two men. While serving hard labor, he ultimately finds redemption through faith and his budding romance with Julia Perryman.
