Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Miles Machree (J. Warren Kerrigan) meets Irish-American Sheila Lynch (Fritzi Brunette) when she travels through Ireland with her father (James O. Barrows). Soon after the Lynch's return to the States, Miles follows, and through his uncle's connections, gets a job on the New York City police force. He discovers a counterfeiting scam and looks for clues that will uncover the perpetrators. It turns out that Allyn Dexter (Wedgwood Nowell), Mr. Lynch's secretary and Sheila's fiancée, is working in conjunction with the master counterfeiter, Hugo Strauss (Joseph J. Dowling). The scheming pair plot to replace the cash at Lynch's bank with counterfeit notes and take off, but Miles gets the secret service involved. They raid the counterfeiter's den, where Sheila has been lured, and in the ensuing struggle, Dexter is killed. Strauss is apprehended, and Miles earns a job at Lynch's bank, along with Sheila's love.
