World renowned instrumental soloists Eugene Istomin, Isaac Stern, and Leonard Rose perform the works of Beethoven and Brahms in this release of a 1965 concert originally staged for the CBC. Compositions featured in this release include Beethoven's "Trio in C Minor, Op. 1, No. 3", and Brahms' "Trio in C Major, Op. 87. An additional solo performance of Saint-Saëns' "Introduction Rondo Capriccioso" by Stern is also included.
