I suppose if you looked long and hard for a long enough time, you could find a worse film than The Girl Who Knew Too Much, but why would you want to put yourself through such a search? If Girl is not the worst movie ever made, it's certainly way up there. Now, as with many of these truly dreadful movies, there is a certain entertainment value in Girl. Oh yes, it's quite easy to get some mirth out of mocking the torturously inept dialogue, to giggle at what the moviemakers thought of as "hip," to look on in amazement at the incredible posturings of Adam West and ask over and over, "What in the world is he doing, how did he think of doing something like that, and why did no one tell him that he's simply embarrassing himself?" But the fun runs out after a half hour or so, and it becomes difficult to keep watching (although the scene in which West finally succeeds in besting someone physically does provide enough merriment to make up for some of the dry patches). Eventually, you just starting pitying Nancy Kwan, Robert Alda, and the other cast members -- even West, who didn't deserve to be sentenced to such dreck.
