Dick Carruth, who is listed as "music supervisor" for The Fighting Vigilantes, should have suffered the same fate as villain George Cheseboro. Canned music that has little or no relation to the onscreen action constantly mars what otherwise would be a pleasant enough Lash LaRue oater. One highlight not ruined by superfluous background music has Al St. John forcing a confession out of henchman Carl Mathews by tickling the bottom of his feet!
