Amy Carr (Naomi Watts) is a recently widowed mother trying to bring a sense of normalcy back to her family. While on a jog miles away from home, Amy receives a phone call that her son, Noah (Colton Gobbo), is being held hostage, and their hometown is on full lockdown. Amy desperately tries to get back to her son and conducts her own negotiation with the captor. The Desperate Hour is directed by Phillip Noyce.
