Synopsis by Jack Rodgers
Two Copenhagen police officers (Nikolaj Lie Kaas and Fares Fares) decide to reinvestigate a 20-year-old case involving the murder of teenage twins. The pair eventually discover that the drug addict who confessed to the crime might have been part of a plot to cover up wrongdoing at a boarding school. Pilou Asbaek and David Dencik co-star. Adapted from an entry in Jussi Adler-Olsen's series of "Department Q" crime novels, The Absent One was directed by Mikkel Norgaard.
