Synopsis by Perry Seibert
Sylvia Caminer's documentary Tanzania: A Journey Within profiles an American woman and an African man who become friends while hiking through Tanzania. They come face-to-face with several major societal problems, including a fear of AIDS that leaves children cast out of society, as well as the inspiring spirit of the Tanzanian people. The woman is so moved by her experiences that she makes a major life decision.
