Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Debuting September 21, 1982 on BBC2, Take Three Women was a weekly, 55-minute sequel to the popular 1970s British series Take Three Girls. Three of the original cast members returned in their original roles, with the scripts making allowances for the 11-year gap. In attendance were Liza Goddard as the wealthy Victoria, Angela Down as the artistic Avril, and Susan Jameson as the worldly Kate (the two actresses who replaced Down and Jameson on Take Three Girls, Carolyn Seymour and Barra Grant, were conspicuous by their absence). In keeping with the overall nostalgic atmosphere, the first series' very popular theme song was retained, again performed by Pentangle. Take Three Women was not quite as enduring as its predecessor, lasting a mere four episodes.
