Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Survivor: Cook Islands enters Day Seven minus the Aitutaki tribe's "slacker" Billy Garcia, eliminated at the end of Day Six. The big news in this episode is the merger of the four race-divided tribes into two interracial, co-ed tribes, the Aitutaki and Rarotonga (some industry pundits believed at the time that this somewhat rushed merger was due to negative publicity concerning the decision to originally divide the tribe along ethnic lines, but this is unlikely inasmuch as the episodes were taped well in advance of their broadcast dates). Because of the tribal fusion, there is no Reward Challenge on this occasion. Elsewhere, "Cao-Boi Bui is beginning to cause more headaches than he cures; Parvati Shallow continues to flirt outrageously with the male survivors; and Candace Woodcock is shipped off to Exile Island. As Day Eight draws to a close, another Aitutaki member--this one female--is voted off the island.
