Synopsis by Mark Deming

Can a part-time hero defeat the villain in his life and get the girl of his dreams? Eugene (Randy Blair) is a guy with one of the least glamorous jobs imaginable -- he performs at children's birthday parties dressed as comic book super hero Arachnid Man. Eugene's career hasn't done much to help his bad luck with women until he sees Emily (Shelby Barnes) at a party he's working; Emily and Eugene were friends when they went to school together, and he discovers she likes super heroes enough that playing Arachnid Man works in his favor. Eugene feels like life is finally going his way until the arrival of Todd (Adam Sessa), a longtime rival who decides to steal Emily away from him by impersonating another cape-sporting hero, Captain Tremendous. Todd ends up costing Eugene both his girl and his job, but can Eugene find the courage to win them back? Super Hero Party Clown was the first feature film from writer and director Jeremy M. Inman.
