Synopsis by Augustine Chay
Director and co-producer Matt Tyrnauer’s documentary takes viewers inside the walls of the legendary Studio 54 at the height of its fame during the late ‘70s. It explores the disco/nightclub’s infamous culture of hedonism, the celebrities it attracted, and the rise and fall of its ambitious founders (Steve Rubell and Ian Schrager).
