A black sorority sister named Jamilah (Megalyn Echikunwoke) dreams of going to Harvard Law School, and is promised admission there if she agrees to help a white sorority win a charity dance competition. However, doing so will require her to teach them how to step-dance, which has traditionally been an African-American art form.
