Synopsis
Opening by asking the contributors, "What is wrong with Black people?" this documentary explores the basis of racism. Through the lenses of the experiences of three female people of color - writer Harriet Jacobs, journalist Ida B. Wells, and poet Phillis Wheatley - the film features numerous interviews with modern activists that delve deep into the subject of anti-Black racism.
