Written and directed by Alexis Gambis, this drama follows Mexican biologist Mendel (Tenoch Huerta), who specializes in altering the spots on a particular butterfly species. However, after the death of his grandmother, he must travel between his current home of New York to the town he grew up in, confronting issues of the past. With memories of his youth flooding back, and the recollections of the death of his parents emerging again, he finds himself caught up in the familiar throws of sibling rivalry with his brother Simon (Noé Hernández) once he arrives.
