Synopsis by Olivia Cantor
Directed by Lance Oppenheim and produced by Darren Aronofsky, this documentary follows the lives of four senior citizens connected to The Villages, touted as the largest retirement community in the world. Located in Florida, the place is referred to as “the Disneyland for Retirees” as residents seem to have a good time amidst the positive atmosphere encouraged in the place. But the film focuses on the stories of four seniors not entirely buying the happy package, as they struggle with their individual challenges.
