This dramatic comedy finds a young poet fleeing from the police when he is wanted for his role a radical demonstration. Hiding out at the home of a friend, he assumes another identity and soon falls in love with his friend's sister. A man claiming to be his father appears and causes a series of comedic events and misunderstandings.
