Apparently unreleased for two years, this old-fashioned Yellow Scare melodrama must have looked positively ripe when finally landing in neighborhood theaters in 1937. It certainly does today, what with a script that goes nowhere; lackluster acting from a motley cast of has-beens; and less than helpful production values from the redoubtable Larry Darmour. The latter actually managed to sell a slightly better companion piece, Outlaws of the Orient (1937), to Columbia Pictures.
