Broadway stars Tim Curry and Kristen Chenoweth join The Sesame Street gang for a fun-filled updating of the beloved Charles Dickens classic in this holiday tale that casts Oscar the Grouch in the role of die-hard curmudgeon Ebenezer Scrooge -- who's about to receive an unforgettable lesson in the true meaning of compassion and kindness. When the spirits of Christmas past, present, and future drop by Sesame Street for a visit, the green grouch who doesn't seem to care about anything but money will finally find out the importance of taking pause to truly consider the welfare of his fellow muppets.
