Once a well-respected test pilot for NASA, Victor Martin (William Shatner) grapples with the humdrum pace of retirement. Seeking more excitement in his everyday life, Victor agrees to an all-out drag race across Palm Springs in his vintage convertible. However, the incident only inflicts an adverse effect on his ego, leaving him stripped of his license. Relegated to the public transit system, he encounters the charming Caroline (Jean Smart), who opens a new path Victor once thought closed to him. Directed by Giorgio Serafini.
