Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

When twelve recovering drug addicts attempt to kick their habits in a makeshift rehab center in the Czech countryside, the secrets and lies that seethe under the surface find tensions building up like a pressure cooker in director Robert Sedlácek's emotionally jarring drama. Three counselors are in charge of the unstable addicts, and all participants are expected to follow a stringent collection of rules and guidelines. Recently arrived addict Roman (David Svehlik) is looking to clean himself up, and the first task for new arrivals is to jump into a freezing cold lake. While Roman does complete his icy initiation, it quickly becomes obvious that there is formidable tension between he and community member Milan (Jiri Langmajer). It seems that everyone in the group has their fair share of secrets, and Roman's arrival has sparked some dormant memories buried deep in the mind of former hardcore junkie Tom (Igor Chmela). It seems that Tom's friend Dasa had recently died of an overdose while strung-out Tom sat helplessly by. But as the clouds in Tom's drug-addled memory slowly begin to part he begins to suspect that Roman, and perhaps Milan - who was Dasa's boyfriend at the time of her death - may have played a malevolent part in her untimely demise.
