Synopsis by Alexis Culotta
Donté Clark's poetry might be his ticket out of his troubled hometown of Richmond, CA, but before he goes he wants the city to confront its history of violence through the words of famed bard William Shakespeare. This documentary follows Clark as he stages an urban version of the classic play Romeo and Juliet in an attempt to help heal Richmond. Directed by Jason Zeldes.
