This BBC production provides an interesting look at the fascinating Russian bears and their habitats in this six-part video series. Viewers will see bears struggling to survive in such places as Siberia, also known as the "frozen forest," the Volga Delta wetlands and the Tien Shen mountain range. Some of these bears also live their lives in and around the Kamchatka Peninsula. Listen and find out about the many other wild animals that the Russian bear must live around and keep a close eye on. Snow leopards are shown, as well as many less threatening animals. This tape provides an interesting look at the many different types of wildlife that the Russian bear encounters in its daily life.
