Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

Award winning naturalist, conservationist, artist, author, and filmmaker Bill Mason sets out on a mission to dispel the myth of the bloodthirsty wolf in this documentary filmed over the course of three years in British Columbia, the High Arctic, the Northwest Territories, and his home near the Gatineau Hills in Quebec. By relocating three young grown wolves to his property, Mason was able to capture images of tribal customs, mating and birth for the first time ever on film. Timber wolves and pure-white Arctic wolves were Mason's passion, and it's thanks to his hard work and intense research that we are finally able to gain a greater understanding of these magnificent creatures.
