Two men find it difficult to set aside youthful rivalries in this short drama. 19-year-old Zhenya was born and raised in Moscow, but left Russia behind to make a new life for himself in Berlin. Zhenya hasn't seen his older brother Denis in years, and when Denis announces he'll be paying him a visit, he's overjoyed by the news. However, while Denis is used to being the boss over his little brother, Zhenya regards himself as an adult and demands to be respected as such, leading to an intense quarrel between the siblings. Hase und Gluck (aka Rabbit and Luck) was screened in competition at the 2007 Rotterdam International Film Festival.
